The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has agreed a four-year contract extension with DHL Express Ireland, continuing DHL’s role as official logistics partner across all levels of Irish football.
DHL has been a key contract logistics partner of the FAI since the mid-1990s.
Under the renewed agreement, DHL Express will continue to provide logistics support for the Ireland men’s and women’s senior teams, as well as all international squads.
The logistics provider will also the FAI’s Football in Schools initiative as part of the Me & My Ball programme, ensuring the nationwide delivery of free footballs to every primary school in Ireland.
Commenting on the agreement, Brian Murray, commercial and same day director, DHL Express Ireland, said: “We are delighted to renew this longstanding partnership and reconfirm our commitment to providing our unparalleled logistics expertise to the FAI… As a logistics partner we know the value of teamwork, reliability and performance – qualities we are proud to support on and off the pitch”.
FAI commercial director, Sean Kavanagh, added: “DHL play a vital role for our international teams ensuring we have our product and kit no matter where we are playing around the world and we are excited to continue that work together.”
