Geek+, a global logistics technology company, has launched its latest offering: an ‘all-in-one picking solution’ that it calls RoboShuttle Plus.
RoboShuttle Plus makes use of four of Geek+ robots, the P500 and P800 (two picking robots for medium to large items), the P40 (a picking robot for smaller items) and the RoboShuttle (a robot which handles vertical storage and retrieval of totes).
These robots are all co-ordinated around one centralised workstation to increase the automation of storage and picking processes in the warehouse.
This solution can be used as an alternative to the need for conveyors and fixed infrastructural equipment.
Hongbo Li, Chief Technology Officer at Geek+, said: “The RoboShuttle series has been one of our most successful line of solutions enabling automated height storage for warehouses, and this latest version realises the full potential of our technology as it adds more speed and higher throughput for customers.
“Entrusting all picking to RoboShuttle Plus allows businesses to centralise their operations and enables them to respond to business fluctuations quickly and easily.”
Geek+ expects that its latest solution will deliver higher throughput and flexibility.
Geek+ (Stand i602) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
