Logistics Manager caught up with Thorsten Finke, CEO, IDENTYTEC, about making material flow more transparent, reliable and efficient, ahead of this week’s supply chain and logistics show IntraLogisteX in Dallas.
Please tell us about your organization…
DENTYTEC helps manufacturers make material flow more transparent, reliable and efficient.
We develop solutions for demand-driven material supply, but technology is never our starting point. We begin with the process: what does the customer need to improve, where is information missing and what creates unnecessary effort or inventory?
Our sensors, software and automation technologies are simply the tools we use to solve these challenges and create measurable operational value.
What can visitors to IntraLogisteX in Dallas expect to see on your booth?
We believe the best way to understand a solution is to see the process in action. At our booth, visitors can experience a working demo kit with a flow rack equipped with IDENTYTEC sensors. It demonstrates how material demand can be detected automatically and made visible in real time.
Visitors can also take a closer look at our sensor technology and discuss how the concept can be integrated into their existing material flow processes.
Who should visit your booth and why?
Anyone responsible for manufacturing, intralogistics, material supply or process improvement who wants better visibility and fewer manual steps in material replenishment.
We are particularly interested in talking to people who have a real operational challenge to solve. Our conversations usually start with the process and the desired outcome – not with a product.
Why is IntraLogisteX in Dallas important to you in 2026?
North America is an important growth market for IDENTYTEC. IntraLogisteX gives us the opportunity to meet logistics professionals and manufacturer face-to-face, understand their challenges and exchange ideas about practical automation.
For us, it is also an important step in strengthening our presence in the USA together with our local team and demonstrating that meaningful digitalisation does not always require replacing existing infrastructure.
In one word, how would you describe the future of intralogistics?
Visible.
Visit IDENTYTEC at Booth 410 to discover how material demand can be detected automatically and made visible in real time.
IntraLogisteX will bring together warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and supply chain professionals from across the USA at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, on September 16-17, 2026.
