Warehouse software provider IFS Softeon will be the exclusive sponsor of the IntraLogisteX Theatre at IntraLogisteX 2027, the UK’s largest warehousing and supply chain exhibition taking place at the NEC Birmingham on 17–18 March.
The IntraLogisteX Theatre will host two days of presentations, case studies and panel discussions examining the operational challenges facing warehouse and logistics businesses, with a focus on warehouse management systems, AI-driven decision-making and the integration of automation.
“The biggest challenge for warehouse operators in 2027 is making AI, automation and the WMS work as one system,” said James Newman, managing director, EMEA, IFS Softeon.
“Many sites have added robots, conveyors and AI tools over time, each running on its own logic and data. The answer is orchestration at the centre: one execution layer, with the WMS as the single source of truth, deciding what people and machines do next.
“AI works best on specific, measurable problems, scaled once proven. It should support people rather than replace them, backed by strong training and change management.
“We’re sponsoring the IntraLogisteX Theatre to meet operators facing exactly these decisions and talk about what works in practice.”
Two additional conference theatres, the Robotics & Automation Theatre and the Sustainability Theatre, will explore lessons from live automation deployments and ways to improve sustainability across the sector.
Alongside the conference programme, visitors will be able to meet suppliers and explore technologies covering warehouse automation, robotics, materials handling, software and storage.
Companies already confirmed to exhibit include IFS Softeon, Boston Dynamics, KNAPP, Exotec, Locus Robotics, Dexory, Ocado Group, Kardex, Körber Supply Chain, Swisslog, Combilift and Toyota Material Handling.
IntraLogisteX 2027 will take place in Halls 6 and 7 at the NEC Birmingham. Attendance is free for eligible logistics and supply chain professionals, with access to the exhibition, conference sessions and live demonstrations.
