Mothercare opts for Manhattan for multi-channel

Mothercare has chosen Manhattan Associates’ systems for its multi-channel offering.

Matt Stringer, chief operating officer at Mothercare, said: “This strategic global investment in Manhattan’s solutions will help us transform our business. We’re building our capabilities to provide a ‘best in class’ multi-channel experience – offering our customers what they want, when they want, and how they want it.”

Mothercare selected Manhattan’s Distributed Order Management (DOM) and Store Inventory and Fulfilment (SIF) solutions. The implementation is expected to go live in early 2015.

UK managing director at Manhattan Associates, Craig Sears-Black, said: “Customer service is what differentiates the modern retailer in the multi-channel world. Next day order fulfilment is no longer good enough for the typical customer. Implementing our solutions will give Mothercare visibility and fulfilment optimisation within its supply chain.”
