Third-party logistics provider ODW Logistics has deployed new robotics and data intelligence technology at its US distribution centre in Columbus, Ohio.
The autonomous robot and digital twin platform, DexoryView, delivers end-to-end visibility by scanning and analysing warehouse data in real time.
It was deployed through by Raymond Storage Concepts, an intralogistics specialist, which has had a strategic partnership with Dexory since March.
The solution enables ODW Logistics to detect and resolve inventory discrepancies sooner through frequent automated scans, accelerate reconciliation, and reduce labour hours spent on manual checks.
It also supports pallet auditing for CHEP and PECO pallets to reduce chargebacks, captures and analyses over 20,000 storage locations per mission, and completes full facility scans multiple times per week, fully autonomously and without disrupting operations.
Kayla Watson, senior inventory manager at ODW Logistics described the implementation as “a game-changer” in the company’s pursuit of automation and supply chain excellence.
“DexoryView has transformed how we manage inventory and identify process issues. The ability to complete autonomous scans, capture detailed data, and act on insights in real-time has allowed our teams to work more efficiently, with fewer discrepancies and faster problem resolution.”
This implementation underscores ODW Logistics’ commitment to advancing automation in its facilities and driving innovation in inventory management.
