Last mile logistics real estate company Mileway has signed a 10-year lease with Padel Bonito at City 7 in Sheffield.
City 7, Sheffield is a flexible building designed to accommodate a range of uses as occupier requirements evolve.
The recent refurbishment has enabled the building to support a new use that responds directly to changing local demand.
Padel Bonito operator has taken the entire, fully refurbished c. 60,000ft² property with the aim of transforming it into Sheffield’s largest padel centre.
The padel operator will now commence fit-out works to create the city’s largest padel centre, bringing a complementary amenity use to the area.
Mileway co-head of real estate, Andrew Jones, said: “City 7 is a great example of how we actively manage and reposition our portfolio to meet changing customer and community needs.
“By working closely with Padel Bonito, we’re bringing this property back into productive use, supporting a new destination that will add real value for Sheffield.
