Removals and storage company Perfect Group has leased a 33,720ft² unit at Chancerygate’s £27m Audio Park urban logistics development in Southwater, near Horsham.
The company has relocated from its existing premises in Horsham to the new larger facility.
Perfect Group said the move will provide additional storage capacity and greater operational height to support its growth.
The company, which provides domestic and international removals, relocation, storage and furniture hire services, also operates facilities in Exeter, Brighton, Walsall and Welwyn Garden City.
Lucky Gohler, chairman of Perfect Group, said: “Our previous base in Horsham had reached capacity and we needed a building that could support the growth of our storage business without taking us away from the area.”
“Audio Park gives us exactly that, the increased eaves height meaning we can hold considerably more within a single facility as we continue to grow.”
Audio Park comprises seven urban logistics units ranging from 8,300ft² to 33,720ft². Following the letting, six units between 8,300ft² and 13,635ft² remain available.
The development, located close to the A24 between Crawley and Worthing, has achieved BREEAM Excellent and EPC ‘A’ ratings.
The letting highlights continued demand for logistics and storage space close to major population centres. The role of property in supporting efficient urban logistics will be among the issues explored at Urban Logistics.
