SHEIN has officially opened a 737,000ft² (c. 68,500m²) automated fulfilment centre in Lebanon, Indiana, expanding its logistics footprint in the state.
The facility, which features a goods-to-person fulfilment system, is scheduled to begin operations in September 2026.
The online fashion retailer said the site will “create hundreds of jobs as operations ramp up”, adding to its existing workforce of more than 1,300 people in Indiana.
George Chiao, SHEIN’s US president, said: “SHEIN’s continued investment in Indiana reflects our commitment to building a more agile, resilient and innovative fulfilment network while creating economic opportunities in the communities where we operate.”
SHEIN established its main Indiana distribution presence in Whitestown in 2022, selecting Central Indiana as a hub for its US fulfilment network.
The Lebanon development represents the latest expansion of that network and takes SHEIN’s combined property footprint in Indiana beyond 2.5 million ft².
IntraLogisteX Dallas will run from 9.30am to 5pm on 16 September and from 9.30am to 4pm on 17 September. Registration is now open for logistics, supply chain, warehousing, fulfilment, manufacturing and automation professionals interested in attending the event.
