Provider of IT asset disposition (ITAD) and technological solutions, Re-Teck, has announced the opening of a new processing and recycling facility in Taiwan.
The facility will be used to deconstruct data centre components, supporting growing demand for sustainable ITAD and advanced technology repair services for the Asia-Pacific region.
It is designed to meet rising demand for secure, high-throughput ITAD and advanced electronics recycling.
The localisation of high-value semiconductor and GPU production has been prioritised, with the investment designed to ensure that customers operating in and around Taiwan have access to compliant, efficient, and locally delivered services backed by global standards.
Re-Teck chief strategy officer, Linda Li, said: “Taiwan is a critical node in the global AI ecosystem, and our new ITAD facilities there are one-of-a-kind.
“As GPU manufacturing and AI data center infrastructure continue to scale, the need for secure, transparent, and high-capacity end-of-life processing becomes more urgent.
“This facility enables us to support that demand directly, while maintaining the same level of rigor and performance our customers expect worldwide.
