Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer, and retailer Uniqlo has opened a logistics facility in the Philippines.
The logistics hub, located in Riverpark North, is designed to elevate logistics operations through advanced technology, worker-centric spaces and environmentally sustainable features.
Uniqlo is also expected to generate employment opportunities for hundreds of local residents and provides a thoughtfully designed work environment that prioritises employee comfort and well-being.
The facility, now operational, is expected to enhance Uniqlo Philippines’ first-mile logistics capabilities through its strategic location in the Southern Tagalog region.
Uniqlo aims to enable faster and more efficient distribution of its LifeWear products to customers across the country.
Uniqlo Philippines chief operating officer, Geraldine Sia, said: “This new warehouse marks a new chapter for us in the Philippines, supporting our commitment to responsible growth while staying true to our purpose.
“Through our partnership with FNG, we aim to create local jobs and contribute to the community’s development. We hope this facility will become a benchmark for supply chain excellence in the country.”
