Home improvement retailer Wickes has extended its home delivery partnership with same day distribution company CitySprint.
The deal will see CitySprint continue to provide home delivery services from Wickes’ network of more than 230 stores in the UK until the end of 2027.
According to CitySprint the extended contract reduces the prealerted delivery time window from five hours to four, helping customers to plan their day more efficiently.
Customers can also use their tracking link to choose a safe place for delivery, with couriers receiving the instructions instantly on their device.
“CitySprint has been an integral partner for Wickes, ensuring our customers receive a fast and reliable delivery service,” said Keith Ash, distribution and fulfilment director at Wickes.
“This extension is a vital part of our strategy to stay competitive in the home improvement market, and we’re proud to continue building on our shared commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction,” he added.
CitySprint said around 260 accredited couriers support the Wickes account, with an on-time-performance rate of more than 98% achieved last year.
“Since 2016, our teams have worked closely together to deliver millions of orders nationwide, always focusing on customer convenience and reliability,” commented Faye Calland, sales and marketing director at CitySprint.
Wickes last signed a three-year contract extension with CitySprint in 2023.
