Japanese-based Yasuda Logistics Corp has announced it has new construction on warehouse in the MM2100 industrial estate in Bekasi, West Java.
Founded in 1919, Yasuda Logistics Corporation (formerly The Yasuda Warehouse Company) is a comprehensive Japanese logistics and real estate firm.
The company completed the construction through a local unit as part of a concerted push to enter into Indonesia’s domestic logistics market.
The warehouse is planned on a 36,000m² (c. 387,500ft²) site and will have a total floor area of 12,762m² (c. 137,369ft²). Operations are scheduled to begin after June 2027.
The site is near Jakarta and is suited to handling import and export cargo. It is about 30 km from central Jakarta, around 35 km from Tanjung Priok port and about 55 km from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The project is part of Yasuda Logistics’ medium-term management plan, “YASDA GROUP CHALLENGE 2027,” which lists network expansion through group collaboration as one of the basic strategies for its logistics business.
