Pall-Ex is expecting to save £52,000 annually after implementing a hosted IT system from Genesis Communications for its email and mobile communications.
The system is designed to streamline business processes, support expansion and develop the company’s data management strategy.
Genesis will provide its Hosted Exchange, SharePoint and CRM4 systems to help improve communications between the company and its customers and move from an email-based records system to a more robust database.
Sean Sherwin Smith, IT director at Pall-Ex, said: “We’ve avoided spending £30,000 on support costs by upgrading our existing email service to Exchange 2007. With Genesis, our emails, which are also our business records, will be kept indefinitely and will be much easier to manage.
“We have been looking at CRM solutions to develop our data management for a while and SharePoint will improve the way we communicate with our members. Basically, the team needs to concentrate on servicing customers, members and our hub operations. Genesis’ Hosted Solutions will enable them to do so.”
