Enter the Awards and find out just how good you really are

Just how good do you think your supply chain is? Those close to the operation may well have adifferent perception to those external to the organisation. And more often than not, far from management believing they are better than they are, it’s quite likely they underestimate some of the leading qualities of their supply chain.

There is a clear benefit to entering an Awards scheme that is well structured, comprehensive and probing. By asking the right, challenging questions the judges can help an organisation understand it’s true strengths and weaknesses. That’s why many of Europe’s leading companies enter The European Supply Chain Excellence Awards (now in its 11th year), an awards scheme which is organised by Supply Chain Standard in partnership, again this year, with leading management consultancy, PRTM.

Great efforts have been made this year to simplify the online entry process. We believe this has been achieved without diminishing the integrity of the judging process – second to none in supply chain management, as every finalist will be visited by a judge.

But first, all entrants need to register their interest by completing the online entry form before the closing date of Monday 25th June 2007 – visit: www.supplychainexcellenceawards.com. Last year’s winners were: International Federation of the Red Cross, Thales, J Sainsbury, Cisco Systems, British American Tobacco, Borealis, Vodafone, Transport for London, Infineon, Deutsche Woolworth, and Kimberly Clark. All finalists will be invited to attend the Awards Ceremony on the 30th October 2007 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. An event attended by over 300 leading supply chain professionals from across Europe. I hope you will be there to pick up your Award.
