Pall-Ex has launched a partnership operation with the logistics arm of Spanish-based Damm Group in order to establish Pall-Ex Iberia.
The move is the latest step in the company’s plans to develop a pan-European hub and spoke network and follows the recent launch of Pall-Ex Italia.
The Spanish network will operate from a new hub in Madrid which is expected to be fully operational by April 2011.
Enric Estruch, managing director of Pall-Ex Iberia, said: “The Pall-Ex distribution model will bring a quality-driven alternative to the palletised freight distribution market along with an opportunity for members to enhance their service provision to customers.”
