The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK has appointed Donna Cresswell chief operating officer. She will take on responsibility for running the day-to-day operations of the Institute and developing commercial opportunities, freeing chief executive Steve Agg to develop wider external CILT policy and profile matters. Cresswell’s previous roles include director of communications at the Motor Neurone Disease Association and head of communications for Carlsberg UK. - Part of the solution
Multipart Solutions has appointed Stewart Ashall purchasing development manager. He will lead a team responsible for sourcing automotive parts from low cost producing countries including India, China and Turkey. The objective of the team is to realise cost benefits for motor manufacturers for which Multipart provides an aftermarket parts service. - HR head for Ceva
Ceva has appointed AnneHarm Barkema to lead its global human resources function, from 1st September. He joins from Dell where he held various roles notably the HR leader for Europe and the Vice President of HR for their Asia business, based in Singapore. - North Asia development
Damco, the AP Møller-Maersk logistics operation, has hired Michael Ma as head of supply chain development for the North Asia region. He most recently served as supply chain management practice leader for IBM Global Business Services in Hong Kong.
