Exide Technologies has launched a traction battery rental service called Power Gap, which is designed to allow companies to bridge any gap they might have in their energy requirements without having to make a major investment in capital equipment.
Power Gap is designed to be used at peak times when customers need to increase their battery fleet, or for companies who have reached the end of a long term lease contract but do not wish to take on the commitment of another contract immediately.
Customer can tailor packages to their specific requirements and will be charged a fixed weekly cost.
An Exide technician will provide an evaluation of the customers’ requirements and can offer packages which include on-site inspections and maintenance calls as well as any required replacement at no additional cost. Packages can be adjusted as and when they need to be.
