Sea Products of Scotland has become the first customer to take ACS Logistics and Edge Worldwide Logistics’ new global, end-to-end service.
It is using the service to import cobia, a Vietnamese saltwater fish.

EWL collects containers of frozen cobia from Vietnam and ships them to the UK. It then delivers them, by road, to the ACS cold store and distribution centre in Wolverhampton.
ACS then handles storage, packing, palletisation, and onward distribution to Sea Products’ customers across the UK and Europe.
ACS’s real-time warehouse management system enables Sea Products of Scotland to monitor, trace and manage orders of stock in ACS’s store in real time.
Mark Warrington, managing director of Sea Products of Scotland said: “ACS’s warehouse management system, which allows me to see our stock levels and manage orders from ACS’s stores in real-time, is also a huge bonus.”
This combined service means Sea Products doesn’t have to manage several different logistics, storage and distribution partners, allowing increased visibility and enhanced information flow.
