Supply Chain Standard is now seeking entries for the Individual Contribution Award in the European Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2010.
The Individual Contribution Award is unique in that the winner is chosen by a vote of the readers of Supply Chain Standard.
It is looking for individuals from across Europe who have made an outstanding contribution to supply chain management over the past year.
The winner will join an elite group of supply chain professionals. Last year the Award went to Peter Surtees, European supply chain director – consumer products at Kimberly-Clark. It recognised the lead he has taken in establishing one of Europe’s first successful collaborative distribution operations between Kimberly-Clark and Unilever in Holland, as well as Kimberly-Clark’s more recent collaborative ventures with Kellogg’s in the UK and France.
Previous winners include Klaus-Michael Kuehne of Kuehne + Nagel, Lawrence Christensen of Sainsbury’s and John Allan of Deutsche Post DHL.
Nominations close on Thursday, 12th August. You can nominate the person that you think deserves the Award at: http://www.supplychainexcellenceawards.com/nominations.aspx
