Panalpina has made three industry experts the global leaders of its core products ocean freight, air freight and logistics.
Mike Wilson, is the new global head of logistics. He has some 20 years global supply chain and technology management experience in companies such as Celestica Ltd., Exel Logistics, Deutsche Post DHL and most recently Timex Group. At Timex, he was senior vice president, global supply chain and manufacturing operations based in the U.S.A. and Hong Kong.
Frank Hercksen, formerly of Kuehne + Nagel, is the new global head of ocean freight. He spent 26 years working for the 3PL in Hong Kong, Canada, the UK, Germany and the USA, most recently as Senior Vice President, Sea Freight, North America Region.
Henrik Lund, has 28 years of international air freight experience and is the new global head of air freight. He previously worked for Samson Transport, Avia Cargo, Shipco Transport, and most recently DHL Global Forwarding where he was vice president, global head consumer sector based in Germany and Hong Kong.
In addition, Panalpina’s current head of supply chain management, Sven Hömmken, has been made global head of marketing and sales.
