The Logistics Manager Conference was such a hit at Logistics Link South last month that it is being developed for Logistics Link Live – which takes place at the National Exhibition Centre on 8th and 9th June.
A quarter of all the visitors to the exhibition took part in the conference which included speakers from Boots and John Lewis. Another successful feature, the Buyer Networking Lounge will also be included at the NEC event, which is running alongside Subcon, the UK’s leading sub-contract manufacturing show.
Exhibitors were impressed by the quality of visitors at Logistics Link South. Leading names such as Waitrose, Screwfix, Sainsbury, Shell, Dunelm Mill, UNICEF, House of Fraser, Majestic Wine and BAE among those attending.
David Drinnan, managing director of Inotec, said: “Logistics Link South is always one of our most productive exhibitions and our RFID ‘The Time is Right’ seminars were again well attended. The leads we collected show that our new products Duraline Rapid and Inotec Floor Block as well as our existing line marking and barcode products are of real interest in the current market and we have already signed up for 2012.”
Doosan dealer Forktruck Direct echoes these views. Sales director Stephen Cullen added: “ We were very pleased with the show and are confident about the leads generated.”
Other highlights of Logistics Link Live will include a Live Demonstration Arena, free seminar programme featuring case studies from blue-chip logistics suppliers and users.
