DHL Freight has opened a 20,000 sqm logistics centre near Kiev in the village of Kalinovka to serve as a main gateway for its network in Eastern Europe, especially the Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia.
Piotr Sikorski, managing director DHL Freight Poland & Ukraine, said: “For DHL, the Ukraine is a market with huge development potential. We invested in the new facility to assure best-in-class transport and warehouse services for our current customers and to ready ourselves for the continued growth in the Ukraine and Eastern Europe overall.”
