Cold store operator Yearsley has been granted planning permission for a £20 million expansion at Hareshill Distribution Park in Heywood, Rochdale.
The development, which is on a 13.5-acre site opposite the company’s existing facilities, will include a 174,377 sq ft cold store and distribution centre.
It will create up to 150 direct jobs in addition to Yearsley Group’s 300 existing employees, plus another 100 construction jobs through a ten-month build programme.
It will also have 118 car parking spaces, cycle and motorcycle parking, separate HGV parking and loading and servicing areas.
