Following practical completion in early October, Land Securities has announced two further lettings at its 2.7 hectare (6.7 acre) speculative industrial and distribution development Commerce Park in Croydon, Surrey. Carpetright has taken Unit 9 totalling 711sq m on a 15-year lease at a rent of £89.88, and Trinity Mirror has taken Unit 11 totalling 802sq m at on a 15-year lease at a rent of £88.80 per sq m.
Located on Commerce Way off the A23, Commerce Park comprises 12 industrial units, the remainder of which, are between 711sq m and 2,431sq m. Alternatively units are capable of being combined as required to accommodate larger occupiers. FPDSavills and Holley Blake are letting agents on the scheme, which is due to complete this autumn.
Charles Howard, of FDPSavills, adds: “The letting of these two units demonstrates the strength of the Croydon market. We are currently experiencing good interest in the remaining units, and are optimistic more tenants will be secured in the near future.”
