The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport has launched an individual member initiative to get its experts directly involved in its HELP (Humanitarian Emergency Logistics Professionals) programme to save lives and reduce suffering when humanitarian disasters strike in the future. The meeting at London’s Victory Services Club, was to identify the right people to push the HELP mandate – to collect, collate, systematise, benchmark and most importantly share best practice in humanitarian and emergency logistics.
