The Norbert Dentressangle group has announced a strong performance in the first half of 2006, with operating profits up 42 per cent to £24.3m.
In July, Norbert Dentressangle bought Transcondor, a Romanian transport company that generates some £6.7m, strengthening ND’s presence in central and eastern Europe.
The acquisition on 20 September of the Spanish logistics company CCH, which generates annual revenue of £13m, has given the group a foothold in the Spanish market, mainly in High-Tech and reverse logistics.
ND said that revenue for the group’s transport business, rose 14.8 per cent following the consolidation of Venditelli and the activities of TNT Logistics France.
