Independent delivery network APC Overnight has launched APC Pin Point and APC Called for its SME customers to improve parcel tracking and visibility.
The two electronic solutions will enable SMEs to meet consumer expectations. APC Pin Point allows customers track the delivery driver’s progress on an online proximity map. APC Called allows the driver to send an e-mail notification to the customer when delivery is attempted in addition to leaving a traditional calling card. The services were first trialled in April 2018.
“These two services recognise the importance of an efficient consumer experience to our SME customers. They will deliver improved parcel visibility, so that we can offer our customers an even more reliable service. We are also making it easier for consumers to reschedule their delivery,” said APC Overnight chief executive Jonathan Smith.
