Buffaload has chosen Carrier Transicold’s Vector 1950 systems to support a 15-trailer fleet expansion. The systems have been mounted to 13.6 metre tri-axle Gray & Adams double-deck refrigerated trailers – they join the ttemperature controlled double-deck trailer company’s 140-strong fleet.

BUFFALOAD The new additions will operate from Buffaload’s four sites: Ellington headquarters, and depots in Avonmouth, Wigan and Livingston.

“Carrier Transicold’s Vector 1950 system offers a perfect balance of reliability, low maintenance and high performance,” said Graham Usher, sales director, Buffaload. “We continually aim to provide the very best in customer service and the solution of a double-deck trailer with a Vector 1950 unit is an excellent combination. We can maximise capacity in our double-deck trailers, while minimizing reefer unit downtime and protecting the cold chain.

“We already operate a number of Carrier Transicold units in our fleet, and we’re confident the Vector 1950 units will help us continue to deliver.”
