IntraLogisteX Düsseldorf, a new focused event for warehousing, intralogistics, fulfilment, automation and logistics technology professionals, has been announced by Akabo Media, publisher of Logistics Manager.
Taking place at Messe Düsseldorf on 16-17 June 2027, the event forms part of European Logistics Month, a new initiative bringing together major logistics and supply chain events across the UK and Germany.
IntraLogisteX Düsseldorf is the latest addition to Akabo Media’s international IntraLogisteX portfolio, joining established editions in the UK, Dallas, Abu Dhabi and Singapore.
The Düsseldorf launch reflects growing international demand for focused, outcome-led intralogistics events that connect suppliers with pre-qualified decision-makers actively looking to invest in logistics, warehousing, automation and fulfilment solutions.
The choice of Düsseldorf also reflects the city’s position at the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany’s leading logistics region. NRW is home to more than 770,000 logistics professionals and thousands of logistics providers.
Located at the centre of Europe’s logistics network, the region combines Germany’s largest industrial economy with direct access to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, as well as major road, rail and inland waterway corridors.
The Ruhr region remains one of Europe’s most important warehousing and distribution hubs, accounting for more than half of all logistics property take-up in NRW.
From DHL and Rhenus to FIEGE and DB Schenker, many of Germany’s most important logistics companies have major operations or headquarters in NRW.
The region is also home to major brand owners, retailers, manufacturers and logistics users, including Metro AG, REWE, Henkel, Haribo, Bayer, Dr Oetker, Thyssenkrupp, Evonik Industries and Ford-Werke.
Thus, the high concentration of logistics providers, corporate headquarters, industrial activity, manufacturing strength and warehousing operations makes Düsseldorf a natural location for a focused intralogistics event.
What’s more, Düsseldorf provides access to senior commercial decision-makers, while nearby Essen, Dortmund and the wider Ruhr region is a gateway to the operational warehousing, distribution and fulfilment audience.
As a result, the event is expected to attract both C-suite decision-makers and senior operations professionals.
The exhibition will focus on practical solutions across warehouse automation, robotics, materials handling, fulfilment systems, storage, picking, packing, sortation, warehouse management systems, inventory management, intralogistics software, data, AI-enabled optimisation and operational efficiency.
In addition, a major conference programme will run alongside the exhibition, providing visitors with insight into the technologies, strategies and investments shaping modern warehousing and fulfilment.
Stephen Brooks, managing director of Akabo Media, said: “IntraLogisteX Düsseldorf is about building a focused, commercially driven event in the right place, at the right time, for the right audience.
“Düsseldorf and North Rhine-Westphalia sit at the centre of European logistics, manufacturing, fulfilment and distribution. That makes the region a natural home for an event dedicated to the future of intralogistics and warehouse operations.”
IntraLogisteX Düsseldorf will take place during European Logistics Month, alongside Urban Logistics in London on 9-10 June 2027 and the Responsible Supply Chain Conference in London on 22 June 2027.
