Online sporting goods retailer Wiggle, in collaboration with P2P Mailing, has launched a new Pick Up Drop Off (PUDO) widget on its website. The PUDO widget is drop-down delivery option that enables shoppers to pick up their items at a location of their choice, like in a shop or locker.
“Wiggle has expanded at an impressive rate in recent years and as the company has grown, we’ve listened closely to the changing needs and delivery preferences of our international customers,” said Doug Macgrain, customer delivery manager at Wiggle. “By offering a single flexible delivery platform, our PUDO widget is geared around localised consumer convenience.”
P2P hopes to extend PUDO to further retailers in future. Sales director Beth Chapman said that Wiggle’s widget taps into consumer trends seen in France and Scandinavia, where pick up points are popular.
“The PUDO widget taps into these consumer trends by offering greater delivery choice and in doing so enhances the overall customer experience from purchase to collection,” she said.
