Jungheinrich UK has launched a range of rental packages called “Power Buy the Hour” for its IC forklift trucks.
By monitoring telematics data, customers that opt for the scheme will only ever pay for the number of hours a truck is in use for. This data can be accessed by a mobile app.
The new rental scheme enables customers needing contracts of 12 months or more to move up and down price bands.
“Compared to the standard five year contract, it’s very competitive,” said Neil Warren, used equipment, rental and workshop director, Jungheinrich UK.
The prices for the hour rental scheme are:
Truck Type | 600 Hours | 800 Hours | 1000 Hours | 1200 Hours |
DFG 316 | £7.20 | £5.80 | £4.95 | £4.38 |
TFG 320 | £7.60 | £6.10 | £5.18 | £4.57 |
DFG 425 | £7.80 | £6.22 | £5.28 | £4.65 |
TFG 430 | £8.60 | £6.83 | £5.76 | £5.05 |
Additional hours are charged at £2 an hour.
Jungheinrich launches Milton Keynes showroom
Jungheinrich UK has launched a new “Forkcourt” showroom and business hub in Milton Keynes. The site will be a drop-in place for local customers to look at the company’s range of remanufactured forklift trucks.
The new facility has been designed to look like a car showroom, where people are able to drop in when and as they choose without an appointment.
“The Milton Keynes ‘Forkcourt’ is an opportunity to showcase the quality of these five-star refurbishments and their economic, technical and ecological benefits to our customers in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area,” said Warren. “Combined with our new Business Hub concept, we look forward to working more collaboratively to support local industry and the materials handling and intralogistics requirements of the companies it is comprised of.”
