Marshalls chooses TomTom

Marshalls, the landscaping products supplier, has chosen TomTom Telematics to help in its aim to achieve a five per cent improvement in fuel performance across its 200-strong truck fleet.

TomTom has said dynamic route planning and improvements in driver performance will see the UK supplier of hard landscaping materials cutting its fuel spend by upwards of £350,000 over the next year.

“We’re anticipating notable improvements in both fleet mileage and mpg performance,” said Guy Ripley, regional logistics & fleet manager, Marshalls.

“Having invested in a number of telematics systems over recent years that have failed to meet our expectations, we turned to WEBFLEET which offers easy software integration opportunities, extensive levels of functionality and one of the most future-proofed platforms on the market.”
