Mitsubishi is changing the way it does business in the UK involving a radical switch from a distributor-based operation to one that puts dealers in direct communication with the parent company’s European base at Almere in the Netherlands.

Prime minister Tony Blair has officially opened Argos’s new distribution centre in Darlington. The 737,000 sq ft distribution centre is home to Argos Direct, Argos’ home delivery business.
