AI-driven intralogistics and digital twins will take centre stage at IntraLogisteX 2026, as industry leaders explore how artificial intelligence can help warehouses tackle labour shortages, improve maintenance and enable predictive operations.
Michael Becher, vice president of digitalisation & AI at Körber Supply Chain, will present a session titled “AI in the warehouse, from operational challenges to autonomous operations: how digital twins, digital solutions and agentic AI enable secure, predictive and scalable intralogistics.”
Taking place on 19 March 2026 (10:40–11:00) at the NEC Birmingham, this session will bring together logistics professionals looking to understand how AI is reshaping warehouse operations and supply chain resilience.
With responsibility for Körber’s global Digital & AI function, Michael Becher leads the development of scalable digital products across warehouse automation and parcel logistics. His work focuses on AI-driven product development, predictive maintenance, digital twins and agentic systems designed to improve performance, resilience and cost efficiency in modern intralogistics environments.
During the session, Becher will explore how AI-powered warehouse systems can address critical operational challenges while supporting the transition toward more autonomous, data-driven supply chains.
Attendees will gain practical insights into:
- How AI can address labour shortages and maintenance quality in modern warehouses
- How digital twins and agentic AI enable predictive, adaptive operations
- How to implement secure, scalable AI solutions without compromising cybersecurity
The presentation also aligns with wider industry discussions around how artificial intelligence can improve sustainability and resilience across increasingly complex supply chains. The event, which features 60+ conference sessions will also include a talk from Dr Chee Yew Wong, professor of supply chain management at Leeds University Business School, on how AI is making supply chains more sustainable as well as a panel discussion on supply chain resilience.
